The villa has a delightful feeling of comfortable seclusion about it -yet it is perfectly situated for visits to the Mαlaga coast, while the historic city of Granada would make an excellent day trip. It sands near the old Moorish village of Archez, approximately 30 minutes from the coast, and is set in the magnificent landscape of the Sierra Tejeda mountains, surrounded by vine-covered hills and a valley sweeping down to the sparkling blue sea in the distance. The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for walking, particularly in the cooler months and Spring.
Casa Las Jaras is a newly constructed villa, all on one level, with private pool (8 x 4m). An open terrace, with built-in barbecue, runs round the front and side of the house, so you can dine alfresco in either sun or shade while enjoying the panoramic views and perhaps tasting some of the local sweet wine. There is an outside shower and plenty of room to sunbathe and relax around the attractively tiled pool. The pool can be floodlight at night.
This property is completely secluded and peaceful -the only sounds you are likely to hear are those of goat bells in the distance. The last 1300 metres of the road to the property are of rough track and therefore a low car is not suitable (normal car is suitable).
Entry to the house is into the light and airy, open-plan living/dining room with fireplace, T.V. set and DVD player, radio with audio tape and CD player;
The well-equipped kitchen is separated by an American style breakfast bar and equipped with fridge-freezer, cooker, oven, microwave, dish washer, toaster, coffee machine and juicer. The washing machine, iron and ironing board are outside in a separate utility room.
The two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) have built-in wardrobes and are comfortably furnished with top quality beds. A baby cot can be provided on request at no extra cost.
