As an established community, there is a good selection of shops, restaurants already in place. These are local village shops, those looking for more variety will find them in La Manga or Cartagena.
The village still remains unspoiled by tourism even though there is increased interest, having retained much of its inherent culture and atmosphere. There are many fiestas (festivals) throughout the Cabo de Palos calendar, some of which are a real spectacle and well worth a look.
